1. What we collect

• Check inputs: the domain, optional brand name and keywords you submit, and the generated results.
• Technical data: IP address (used for daily rate limiting and abuse prevention), user agent, and basic request logs.
• Account data (paid plans): email address and subscription status. Payments are processed by Creem (merchant of record); we never see or store your card details.

2. How we use it

• To run the checks you request and display report pages.
• To enforce free-tier limits and prevent abuse.
• To send transactional email about your account or reports (no marketing without consent).

3. What we do not do

• We do not sell personal data.
• We do not store the content of the websites we audit beyond derived, non-personal findings (e.g. "llms.txt present: yes").

4. Third parties

Checks send your submitted domain and generated questions to third-party AI providers (e.g. Perplexity, OpenAI-compatible services) to obtain answers. Infrastructure is hosted on Vercel and Supabase. Payments are handled by Creem.

5. Retention & deletion

Report pages are retained so their URLs keep working. You may request deletion of a report or your account data at any time via support@answerenginecheck.com and we will action it within 30 days.
